Meet Patti
I am a Brunswick County native who, after spending several years living in the Piedmont of North Carolina, returned home with a deeper appreciation for community and local values. I was raised in a family of farmers and commercial fisherman — two proud, hard-working traditions that taught me firsthand the importance of protecting our land and waters here in our beautiful county. From an early age, my mother instilled in me a core-belief that we are strongest when we work together. This lesson continues to guide my commitment to supporting our communities and building a better future for all.
Why I’m Running
Brunswick County deserves steady, thoughtful leadership that puts citizens first. Our County is growing fast. Growth brings opportunity — but without careful planning, it also brings higher taxes, crowded schools, traffic, flooding, and strained services.
I’m running for County Commissioner because I believe growth should strengthen our communities, not overwhelm them. I want to protect what makes Brunswick County special — our land, our water, and our way of life— while making sure growth is smart, accountable and fair to the people who already live here.
……. the importance of protecting our land and waters here in our beautiful county. ”
